Who builds it

Hello, I’m Oliver. I build Workden.

There is no call centre behind this product and no queue of scripts. When you write in, the message comes to me, and I am the one who writes back.

Why I built it

I wanted one place a shop could run its whole day from.

I build every part of Workden myself: the customer records, the orders, the email tools, the lot. That means when something does not work the way your shop needs it to, you are talking to the person who can change it.

It also means I read every request myself, and the ones that would help most shops get built.

Built to order

Need something Workden does not do? I can build it.

Every business has a way of working that no off-the-shelf tool quite fits. If yours needs its own screens, its own steps or its own way of looking at customers, I can build a workspace made for it, inside Workden, working from the same customers and orders you already have.

Tell me how your business runs and what you wish you could see. I will tell you whether it can be done, how long it would take and what it would cost.

How it is priced

Custom work is quoted separately and is never added to your monthly price without you agreeing to it first. You get a written quote before anything is built.

How it came about

It started with other people’s messy data.

  1. Nine to five, fixing the same mess

Before Workden I worked nine to five for other companies, and a lot of that time went on their customer data. It was the same everywhere. One customer typed in three different ways. Spreadsheets nobody trusted. A different tool for every job, and none of them talking to each other.

  2. Good tools, in too many places

So I learned to clean it up. I got to know the tools that take a messy database and make it useful again. They work. But the more of them I used, the more I needed one place to bring them all together.

  3. Subscriptions that keep asking for more

The software was the other half of the problem. A subscription for this, another for that. Each one limited, and each one asking you to buy more credits just as it started being useful.

  4. So I built the one I wanted

Workden brings those apps and subscriptions into one place. You get the kind of tools the expensive platforms sell, for one price, with no credits to top up, and workflows you can shape to the way your business runs.

Try it, and tell me what you think.
